اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَفْتَتِحُ الثَّنَاءَ بِحَمْدِكَ
“O Allah, I begin the praise with Your glorification…”
Dua Al-Iftitah (“the Opening”) is narrated from Imam al-Mahdi (aj) and is recited on every night of the holy month of Ramadan. It combines praise of Allah (swt), salutations upon the Prophet and his family, and longing for the just government of the Awaited Imam (aj).
