اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ يَا اللهُ يَا رَحْمَنُ يَا رَحِيمُ
“O Allah, I ask You by Your name — O Allah, O Most Merciful, O Most Compassionate…”
Dua al-Jawshan al-Kabir (“the Great Armor”) is narrated from the Prophet Muhammad (s) through Imam Ali Zayn al-Abidin (a.s.). Its one hundred sections call upon a thousand names and attributes of Allah (swt). It is especially recited during the Nights of Qadr in the month of Ramadan.
