السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ رَسُولِ اللهِ
“Peace be upon you, O Aba Abdillah; peace be upon you, O son of the Messenger of Allah…”
Ziyarat Ashura is the well-known salutation of Imam Hussain (a.s.) and the martyrs of Karbala, narrated from Imam al-Baqir (a.s.). It is recited with devotion during the month of Muharram — including in our nightly Muharram program — and throughout the year.
